Serbian EU Membership Harder If LGBT Record Not Improved

Commenting on the cancellation of Serbia’s Pride Festival for the second year in succession, Antony Hook said,
“I agree entirely with the view expressed by the Swedish Liberal Foreign Ministerst, Birgitta Ohlson, that Serbia’s stated desire to join the EU cannot be entertained until progress is made on the Serbian authorities’ protection of minority groups, including the LGBT community.”
